[Video] Rick Ross - Thug Cry ft Lil Wayne

It has been a little over two months since Rick "Lemon Pepper" Ross released his sixth studio album Mastermind, the support still continues with visuals coming for the Lil Wayne assisted "Thug Cry". Director Dre Films tabs actor Wood Harris to play a inmate who has recently been released from jail as Ross and Wayne trade verses over the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League produced track. WANGZZZ...

Lil Wayne - Believe Me ft Drake

With a tweet from Kobe Bryant and a Instagram post from Floyd Mayweather "Carter Season" was said to have officially begun. However, in my opinion it started back in 2013 when Wayne apologize to his fans and promised to work harder once he noticed that his recent projects weren't up for awards. He has since seemed to stick with that sentiment if his verses on "Loyal" (showcasing his classic charm) and "Senile" (his best verse in years) are any indicators.

One thing that has remained constant over the last few years is that Wayne and Drake are a deadly duo, everything they touch is music gold, and "Believe Me" is no different. Even with Wayne's verses lacking over the last couple of years, he always seemed to rise to the occasion when Drake was featured, this is why even though I'm happy to hear Wayne sounding awake and rejuvenated again I'm hesitant to crown him as officially back. This is a great start however for an artist who has seemingly staked his whole legacy on this last album as he says, Wayne says believe me but I'll have to wait until Carter Season really begins and that is when I can listen to Tha Carter V itself.

[Video] Weezy Wednesdays: Episode 1 (Lil Wayne's Krib)

Lil' Wayne links back up with DJ Scoob Doo (the man behind the Nino Brown documentaries) for a new weekly series entitled Weezy Wednesdays. Wayne says he feels like the true Lil' Wayne fans don't see enough of the "real" Weezy and promises more behind the scenes footage such as him in the studio which one can only assume will be for the Tha Carter V sessions and numerous other guest verses. With Young Money's Rise of an Empire slated to release March 11th and Tha Carter V due out May 5th seems like Wayne is looking to increase his presence and build hype as he has done in the past.

Future - Karate Chop ft Lil' Wayne

Future decides to keep the add "Lil' Wayne to my single" trend going and grabs the Young Money general for the remix to the hilariously entertaining "Karate Chop". First "Turn On The Lights" now this, can we just get a collab mixtape from the two? Future Hendrix later this year.

Curren$y - Jet Life (Remix) ft Young Jeezy & Lil Wayne

Download: Jet Life (Remix)

Curren$y grabs Young Jeezy and his former CEO Lil Wayne for the remix of Jet Life. All parties minus Wayne do well, the latter's verse just sounded lazy. Curren$y's The Stoned Immaculate in stores now.

Drake - The Motto ft Lil Wayne & Tyga (Video)

Although this song gets a bad rap for the basic lyrics and jerking type beat, I actually enjoy it. You gotta take it as it was intended to be catchy and commercial, which it fits perfectly. YM is gonna make lots of money off of this. Now the video on the other hand is meh, Tyga wasn't needed and Wayne and Drake need to stop dressing themselves, seriously.

Sidenote: Drake has to have a Nike sponsorship, in this and Headlines he was wearing baseball gloves, YOLO I guess....

Game - Martians vs Goblins ft Tyler, The Creator & Lil Wayne (Video)

Game released the video for one of the better songs on his R.E.D. Album, Martians vs Goblins with Tyler and Wayne. You can almost pretty much expect what the video is like, peep it.

Curren$y - Smoke Sum'n (remix) ft Lil Wayne

Download: Smoke Sum'n

For the first time in years, Curren$y and Lil Wayne collaborate on a track and what could be better than going in over some classic OutKast. Can't tell you how excited I am to see these two working together again after all these years. Spitta let this go via his Twitter, with a little story behind it apparently he bumped into to Wayne in Chicago and they talked about old times, Curren$y told Wayne he was doing a mixtape soon and well here it is.

Lil Wayne - How To Love

This video dropped earlier this week, but I wasn't going to post it til a high quality version was released so props to S.T.Y. for the find, make sure you check the site out. Tha Carter IV drops August 29th though I'm sure most of you have it now lol.

Sidenote: This will probably be the last C4 post at least for a while.

Lil Wayne - It's Good ft Jadakiss & Drake

Download: It's Good

Here's the track where Weezy responds to Jay-Z's "you got baby money" diss, and I won't go into Wayne's "diss" just know that this so-called beef doesn't need to even happen. It was cool back when it first happened with the whole "Best Rapper Alive since the best rapper retired" but now? Ehhhh.

Game - Martians vs Goblins ft Tyler, The Creator & Lil Wayne

Finally a Game album cover without tires or his kids.

Download: Martians vs Goblins

This song isn't as good as I thought it would be, I would've preferred an Wayne verse instead of him just doing the small part on the chorus, other than that it's a decent track. Game and Tyler do the "diss" various celebrities thing that they're know for.

Sidenote: Is it just me or does Tyler use the same flow from the Pusha T song? I like his verse but gotta switch it up on the big feature tracks, to impress others.

Lil Wayne - She Will ft Drake

The next single from Tha Carter IV dropped today at noon, featuring fellow Young Money crew member Drake. While it's a nice track, I do actually like this song, it is definitely what you would expect from the title. I feel as if I have heard this song before, just under a different name. That being said check it out, in the mean while Tha Carter IV drops August 29th.

Update: The supposedly original version featuring Ross was "leaked" today by DJ Scream, but my guess is it will now be a remix. Here it is.
