[Video] ScHoolboy Q - Studio ft BJ The Chicago Kid

ScHoolboy Q is back with some visuals for his latest single "Studio" featuring the very underrated BJ The Chicago Kid, I'm glad to see the track being chose for the next single from Oxymoron it is probably the most radio friendly joint and Swiff D's production is absolutely top notch and deserves more recognition. With that said I'm so tired of seeing Beats By Dre ads in videos, like shit has become awkward the second scene after Q talks to his girl is not needed. This isn't the first video either, I saw a YG video yesterday and I couldn't tell if it was a commercial or video, until the music actually started playing. 50 Cent spoke on how Interscope Records has become "Beat Records" I thought he was over exaggerating but I'm slowly becoming more worried he wasn't.

A$AP Twelvyy - Xscape

It's been a loooong time since I've heard some new material from A$AP Twelvyy which is a true shame since I think he is one of the more underrated/talented members of the Mob. Anyway "Xscape" sees 12vyy keeping it New York and flowing over a slow riding beat, speaking on the street life and trying to leave it behind.

A$AP Mob's debut album L.O.R.D. was scheduled to drop March 4th but was delayed to just a 2014 release with Nast stating "We just basically wanted to give people an official album and give people real work. So what we did was take our time with this album really give people bangers, and really give the fans what they deserve from us. That's the reason why the dates have been pushed back and everyone's wondering what's up with the album." with many of the Mob members especially Rocky expressing disappointment in their Lord$ Never Worry EP it's nice to see them taking their time and actually recording the project together as to opposed to their last effort.

Double Feature: Domo Genesis - Arrival & SS4

Domo Genesis seems to be gearing up for the sequel to 2011's Under The Influence as he took to Twitter on 4/20 to release two new tracks "Arrival" which is produced by Left Brain and "SS4" which features production from Flatbush Zombies' Erick The Architect. I do hope/expect the sequel to be better than the original which was to say the least disappointing, however looking back I'll cut Domo some slack since it was his first project with no OF production three years later and with plenty of experience there should be no excuses for a lacking project now. Look for Under The Influence 2 to drop sometime later this year.

Young Thug - Eww

Fresh off the release of Young Thugga Mane La Flare his collaborative project with Gucci Mane, Young Thug is back with another single entitled "Eww" linking back up with "Danny Glover" co-producer Southside of 808 Mafia. I've already stated how awesome it is to see Wayne's influence on Thug not only as an artist but also in how he releases music, very similar to how back in the day you'd get a new Wayne track from some random DJ or just self leaked material. Also, according to MTV the album version of this track will feature a Drake verse hopefully we'll get that sooner than later but if not it's just another thing to look forward to for Thug's debut album tentatively titled Tha Carter VI.

[Video] Childish Gambino - Sweatpants ft Problem

Childish Gambino meets Childish Gambino meets Groundhog Day. Because the Internet available now.

Sidenote: Imagine this video with Problem replacing Bino...greatness...like whaaaaaa!

[Video] SZA - Warm Winds ft Isaiah Rashad

The next generation of TDE songstress SZA and rhymer Isaiah Rashad come together for "Warm Winds" a standout cut from the former's album Z which is available on iTunes currently. Which you should check out if you haven't already. Interestingly enough SZA recently stated in a interview with Mass Appeal the she and Spottie were forming a group and plan to release a project together. They make a great duo as evidenced in their tracks together it'll be exciting to see what they can together over a full length LP.

[Video] Curren$y & The Jets - "This Is The Life" Pt.2 Documentary

The talented CJ Wallis was in New Orleans for Curren$y's 33rd birthday and captured it all for the next segment in the "This Is The Life" mini documentary series. Watch as The Jets crew prepare and surprise Spitta with his birthday gift and see some performance footage mixed in between. Nice to see the JetLife head honcho's genuine reaction to his surprise gift.

[Album Stream] Future - Honest

While Future's sophomore effort Honest doesn't officially release until next week the Freebandz general teamed up with MTV to stream his album for all those who can't wait. If you like what you hear be sure to support when Honest drops April 22nd.

[Video] ScHoolboy Q & Ab-Soul Premiere "Druggys Wit Hoes 3" Live in Los Angeles

While performing at the Nokia Center in Los Angeles, ScHoolboy Q brought out good friend Ab-Soul to debut the third entry in their "Druggys Wit Hoes" series. You can hear the sample used throughout the track, which is why it wasn't/hasn't been cleared for release, no word on if it'll ever end up on a mixtape/album in the future. I'll hold off full judgement until the CDQ version is released (if ever) but I still hold "Druggys Wit Hoes Again" as my favorite followed by the original.

Oxymoron available on iTunes.
