Jay Electronica - Act II: The Patents Of Nobility (Tracklist)

Jay Electronica took to his Twitter earlier today to announce that his long awaited album Act II: The Patents Of Nobility was done. He went on to thank Jay-Z and his fans for being patient and even tweeted out a tracklist. No official date has been set but at least we know that the album is done.

Jay Electronica - Dear Moleskin

Download: Dear Moleskin

Waaaaaay back in 2009, Jay dropped a snippet of this track on YouTube. Now in 2012, almost three years later we get the full thing. Isn't funny how Jay Electronica time works? I don't know who pisses me off more him or Lupe, they're arguably two of the greatest lyricist ever to do it, yet these two hardly ever drop songs outside of their projects. Anyway the track itself is while I can't say it was worth the wait, it's not bad. Jay seems to take a step back to Just Blaze's instrumental which sound-wise is out of the norm for him but it works none the less. Now about that album...

Jay Electronica - Call of Duty:MW3 ft Mobb Deep

Can someone explain what the hell does this have to do with Call of Duty?

Download: Call of Duty: MW3

Dropped late last night while most were sleeping(me), Jay Elec finally released this anticipated track featuring Mobb Deep. As always Electronica does not disappoint, as for Prodigy...eh. Prodigy's verse is far from his best but isn't the worst guest verse ever, and Havoc does well. While I like the track over all, it definitely wasn't worth the wait.

Jay Electronica - A Prayer For Michael Vick & T.I.

Download: A Prayer For Michael Vick & T.I.

J-Elec dropped this over on his Tumblr, with the message of "In case you motherfuckers forgot". Every time I hear Electronica he continually impresses and this is no different. Now the question is can we get an album?

Sidenote: Exhibit A & C references?
