After having a down year compared to his breakout in 2012, 2 Chainz was seemingly in limbo with what to do for his next move with B.O.A.T.S. II not doing what he expected. However, it might have been a blessing in disguise as he sounds hungry once again on his new EP FreeBase. While it isn't T.R.U. Realigon, it is my favorite project from him since the classic mixtape, tapping back into that raw street sound that saw him grow into the star he was two Summers ago. S/O to the good folks over at OnSmash for the stream.

A$AP Twelvyy - Xscape
It's been a loooong time since I've heard some new material from A$AP Twelvyy which is a true shame since I think he is one of the more underrated/talented members of the Mob. Anyway "Xscape" sees 12vyy keeping it New York and flowing over a slow riding beat, speaking on the street life and trying to leave it behind.
A$AP Mob's debut album L.O.R.D. was scheduled to drop March 4th but was delayed to just a 2014 release with Nast stating "We just basically wanted to give people an official album and give people real work. So what we did was take our time with this album really give people bangers, and really give the fans what they deserve from us. That's the reason why the dates have been pushed back and everyone's wondering what's up with the album." with many of the Mob members especially Rocky expressing disappointment in their Lord$ Never Worry EP it's nice to see them taking their time and actually recording the project together as to opposed to their last effort.

[Video] A$AP Nast - Trillmatic ft Method Man
After the recent successes of A$AP Mob's Rocky and Ferg, Nast is the latest in the crew to get his shot and with "Trillmatic" it's a great start. By now I'm sure everyone is aware of the flack/criticism A$AP gets for being from New York but not having that "traditional" NY sound, Rocky being influenced mainly by Houston and Ferg by Ohio's Bone Thugs N Harmony. If anything Nast is the answer to those critiques definitely a old school New York track, straight rap, boom-bap and having a NY legend like Method on the track helps as well. Time will tell if Nast can be the next breakout star from the Mob, I don't necessarily think he can be the commercial success that Rocky and Ferg are but I think he'll find his niche.

[Video] A$AP Rocky Performs Long.Live.A$AP. on RapFix Live
Featured as the first ever RapFix Live performer, A$AP Rocky took the opportunity to perform the intro "Long.Live.A$AP." from his debut album of the same name. Pretty impressive that he produced the track himself, it's great to hear a traditional trillwave joint from him rather than "Goldie" or "Fuckin' Problems" which were more along the mainstream side. Hopefully we'll see more artist debuting tracks on live TV it's always interesting to see how the crowd reacts, even here when Rocky initially started to perform the crowd wasn't moving at all but by the end the whole audience was vibing out to the record.

A$AP Rocky - Pussy Money Weed
The latest track from A$AP Rocky "Pussy Money Weed", no need to tell you what's it about, it is pretty dope though. It's good to hear some new Rocky who has relatively quite on the solo side since dropping "Goldie" the first single from his upcoming album Live.Love.A$AP. No word on were this will end up. Tagged up by DJ Clue for now, although it's not as bad as you'd think. Look for the A$AP Mob and Rocky's album to drop this September.

A$AP Rocky & ScHoolBoy Q: Back & Forth Interview
With the last couple of Noisey back & forth interviews being a bit boring to say the least. Noisey grabs A$AP Rocky one half of the now legendary first back & forth and another one of his good friends ScHoolBoy Q. The two discusses their upcoming tour, women, Rocky fighting and make fun of mutual friend Danny Brown. Hilarious.

A$AP Mob - Bath Salt ft Flatbush Zombies
First official single from the A$AP Mob tape. This is definitely some dark druggy shit, more so SGP God of Black than A$AP. Guess that's the Flatbush Zombies influence. Not a bad track at all. That laugh though...

[Video] The People Vs Danny Brown

A$AP Rocky - Brand New Guy ft ScHoolBoy Q (Video)
A$AP Rocky and ScHoolBoy Q come together for Brand New Guy in what is probably the most well known A$AP joint besides Pe$o and Purple Swag. From Rocky and the Mob moshing in L.A. to Q spiting his verse in New York, both rappers' hometowns are featured and come together in this video much like Rocky and Q themselves. The two even pay a little homage to 50 Cent in the video by hanging upside down and spitting their respective verses much like 50 did back in the day.

The Hood Internet - Pesobedear (A$AP Rocky x Purity Ring)
Download: Pesobedare
With their latest creation, The Hood Internet takes A$AP Rocky's hit Peso and Purity Ring's latest single Obedear to create Pesobedear. With Rocky's slow trill sound and Purity Ring's high energy electro vibe you'd think this combination wouldn't work. However, the Chicago duo find a perfect balance between Rocky's lyrics and the electro synths of Purity Ring to make a fusion of indie electro and hip-hop with a unique sound all to it's own.

A$AP Rocky - Goldie (Video)
A$AP Rocky released visuals earlier today for his lead single Goldie off his upcoming debut album Long.Live.A$AP. One of few videos to come out in recent years that I actually like, I love the way this was shot. In the video we find Rocky and crew in Paris cruising around the Eiffel Tower, mobbing around the city, and living that lavish A$AP lifestyle that is always represented in their videos.
Sidenote: This is what Niggas In Paris should have been, honestly.

A$AP Rocky & A$AP Mob Brawl at SXSW (Video)
A$AP Rocky and the Mob (literally) get into with some idiots in the crowd during his final show at SXSW. Rocky tried to diffuse the situation and warn them that shit was about to get real. After some words exchanged and more thrown beer Rocky and the Mob jumped in the crowd to handle the "situation". S/O to Miles for the link.
