Asher Roth - Fast Life ft Vic Mensa

With Asher Roth's sophomore album RetroHash now available for pre-order and with a release date of April 22nd it seems we'll finally get the follow up to his 2009 debut Asleep in the Bread Aisle. "Fast Life" the second single from Ash features Chicago's Vic Mensa who sounds right at home over the Blended Babies production, as both emcees spitting verses about getting caught up in the fast life (as you probably guessed).

Asher Roth is back with "The World Is Never Enough", the latest entry in his #AshWednesdays series. Ash spits over a smooth sample of Charles Bradley's "The World (Is Going Up In Flames)" and spreads some positivity that is much needed now-a-days. No word on when his sophomore album will drop.

Asher Roth signed to Def Jam

I had no idea Asher wasn't on a major label, but the former SRC records inked a deal with Def Jam recently. His first two projects to be released under the label will be his upcoming mixtape Pabst & Jazz  due out November 21st, and his sophomore album Is This Too Orange? coming early 2012.
