A soulful joint from Tito Lopez, I just caught this on TV and to my surprise it just recently dropped. I honestly never heard of dude besides his The Hunger Game mixtape, which I have yet to listen to but this is a pretty smooth track. Consider me impressed.

A$AP Mob x Flatbush Zombies - Bath Salt (C&S)
The latest single from the Mob got the C&S treatment from one of the best Slim K, known for his chopped and screwing of Rocky's Live.Love.A$AP. project. Look for the A$AP Mob tape to drop later this month.

[Video] ScHoolBoy Q - THere He Go
TDE's residential gangster ScHoolBoy Q is back with a brand new video for "THere He Go" off his latest album Habits & Contradictions. The video is basically what you'd expect it to be, cameos from fellow Black Hippy members and while it's not Q's best it is definitely a major improvement over the original video. Which was just terrible. Terrible.

A$AP Mob - Bath Salt ft Flatbush Zombies
First official single from the A$AP Mob tape. This is definitely some dark druggy shit, more so SGP God of Black than A$AP. Guess that's the Flatbush Zombies influence. Not a bad track at all. That laugh though...

[Album Review] Frank Ocean - channel ORANGE
Disclaimer: The following review is for Frank Ocean’s channel ORANGE not his private life. At the same time it wouldn’t be right nor fair to just completely ignore his recent revelation. I will just say this. I don’t personally have an opinion, rather I don’t care. Music is music. Wither the person is gay, straight, white or black. As long as the music is good, I’m good. Now on to the review itself.

Lupe Fiasco Freestyles On Hot 97
Lupe Fiasco stopped by Hot 97 yesterday and sat down for an interview with Funk Flex, and afterwards spit a few bars for in traditional fashion over Artifacts' "Wrong Side Of The Tracks". Interesting how Lupe asked Flex if he wanted him to "Want me to freestyle or kick something?" More interesting is what Flex said about most rappers.

Nomad - Try-Angles (Prod. rMell)
After dropping the For.Not. EP last week, Nomad is back with the first official single from his upcoming project titled Nocebo. "Try-Angles" is a story of a love triangle and the awkwardness that comes with it. rMell on the beat and chorus.
Rapsody - Non Fiction ft Raheem DeVaughn & Ab-Soul
North Carolina's premier femcee Rapsody dropped her first single "Non Ficton" with Raheem DeVaughn on the hook and with an excellent guest verse from TDE's Ab-Soul, from her upcoming debut album The Idea Of Beautiful. Although I've heard of Rapsody before, I've never actually took time to listen to one of her tracks, however I must admit this pretty impressive. Rapsody's The Idea Of Beautiful set for August 28th.

Hippodramidan (Avionadramida x SIR E.U) - FUCK TUESDAYS ft Cal Rips
Fuck Tuesdays from SIR E.U's WOMBO is the latest video from the KoolKluxKlan and duo known as Hippodramidan. Directed by Aliyah Sahar of KreativeKhaos this is the best video I've seen from the Klan personally. Love having E.U's lyrics on the screen so you can follow along. Kinda bittersweet to see the late great Avion in the video. AV10324VR.

Louseph Bruise Em' - Olé (Trés Mediocre)
New track from Louseph Bruise Em' called "Olé (Trés Mediocre)" from his upcoming project A W H O L E. This is definitely the best I've heard from the homie yet, lyrically and flow-wise. I'd even say this is the best joint I've ever got from him. A W H O L E due out sometime in the Fall.

Surp - Prawllum
Some raw shit from Surp called "Prawllum" featuring his trademark flow over an minimalistic beat from Ahwlee. Surp is definitely one of the illest lyricst out right now in my opinion.

[Video] Phonte - Eternally ft Median
New Tigallo! New Tigallo! New Tigallo! Phonte and Median come together for "Eternally" one of my favorites off the former's album Charity Starts At Home, as with all Phonte videos released lately a little humor is featured. This time around Tigallo and Median go around the neighborhood trying to selling Phonte's album. Once again if you haven't heard Charity Starts At Home, I highly recommend you do so as it was the best album of 2011 behind Section. 80.

Flying Lotus - Between Friends ft Earl Sweatshirt & Captain Murphy
The latest drop in the Adult Swim singles series features a collaboration between friends Flying Lotus, Earl Sweatshirt and Captain Murphy. The weird mixing of the vocals aside, this isn't that bad of a track especially for a Adult Swim drop.

Action Bronson - Blackbird
New shit from Bronsolini! I actually meant to post this when it dropped a few days ago it must've slipped my mind. Anyway, Action coming fresh off his massacre of Elimination Chamber, destroys this track over some classic NY sound from Thelonious Martin. I definitely wouldn't mine seeing a project between the two in the future. Blackbird only proves why Action Bronson is easily one of the illest lyricst in the game right now.

Strong Arm Steady - Fair Fight ft Ab-Soul, ScHoolBoy Q & Jay Rock
Strong Arm Steady grabs 3/4's of the Black Hippy crew sans Kendrick Lamar for their latest leak Fair Fight from their upcoming project Stereo Type. The track which is produced by Statik Selektah, definitely has that street feel to it. Be sure to cop Stereo Type when it drops August 14th.

[Review] Nomad - For.Not. EP
Even with it's short duration For.Not is still one of the best projects I've heard this year and should serve as a taste of what Nocebo will be when it drops later this year. Although according to Nomad these tracks have nothing on what he has on Nocebo. Nice.

Kendrick Lamar - Swimming Pools (Drank)
Latepass, I've been (really) busy lately. Swimming Pools (Drank) is the latest single from Kendrick Lamar. Backed by a beat from T-Minus, this is definitely the most mainstream sound I've heard from Kendrick. Odd timing on the release of this record, plus with The Recipe gaining buzz on the radio you'd think Kendrick would hurry up and release the video. Either way good kid, m.A.A.d city drops October 2nd.

Grammy Family - Long Hair, Don't Care
Yet another Grammy Family track, this time rMell and Miles Meraki team up for this chill cut. Grammy Family - Beam Up
Some of the Grammy Family (rMell, Matt McGhee, and Miles Meraki) got together for this dope track. The three of them sound right at home, over one of rMell's best production-wise. Album Review: Mike of Doom - Of Doom...
Download: Of Doom...
So I said I would review this about two days ago, as did the homie Dave. However, today I decided to overcome my loafage and get to work on this review. Now on to the project itself. Of Doom... is a collection of work by DMV producer/rapper Mike of Doom and showcases his talents as an artist. Mike handles all the production on the tape, and even spits on some of the tracks. The project is 24 tracks deep and I normally don't like when artist have more than 15 tracks on their projects, but the variety of the tape prevents you from losing interest.

Surp - The Lucid Dream of an Insomniac (Mixtape)
Surp dropped an extremely short tape a couple days ago, but it's rather dope so it makes up for it. Two things. First this is probably the best 10 minutes or less of audio that you'll ever hear. Secondly, best intro ever...
Nomad - Sxt Msg

The homie Nomad is back to putting out music after a brief hiatus, spitting over a C&S version of Flashing Lights. Nomad tells a story about him and a young women who didn't quite work out. Curren$y - Jet Life (Remix) ft Young Jeezy & Lil Wayne

Nas - Loco-Motive ft Large Professor
Download: Loco-Motive
Nas' latest single from his Life Is Good album Loco-Motive finds Nas revisiting that old New York sound that made him. Produced by No I.D. this is definitely that classic Nas sound that people have been looking for, he even jokingly acknowledges it "this for my trapped in the 90s niggas". Life Is Good official drops July 17th.

Kanye West x Pusha T - New God Flow
Download: New God Flow
After spitting an a cappella version at last nights BET Awards, Ye and Pusha dropped the official version today. With a vocal sample of Ghostface Killah's "Might Healthy" Kanye and Pusha trade bars for the duration of the track. Honestly while the lyrics are there (the Yeezys line being the highlight), the beat and the Ghostdini sample don't work in my opinion. Nonetheless it's a Kanye track so people will gravitate to it regardless of a wack beat or not. G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer due out August 7th.
