[Video] ScHoolboy Q & Ab-Soul Premiere "Druggys Wit Hoes 3" Live in Los Angeles

While performing at the Nokia Center in Los Angeles, ScHoolboy Q brought out good friend Ab-Soul to debut the third entry in their "Druggys Wit Hoes" series. You can hear the sample used throughout the track, which is why it wasn't/hasn't been cleared for release, no word on if it'll ever end up on a mixtape/album in the future. I'll hold off full judgement until the CDQ version is released (if ever) but I still hold "Druggys Wit Hoes Again" as my favorite followed by the original.

After dropping his collaboration with TDE's ScHoolBoy Q a few months ago, Mac Miller dropped another collab between him and the TopDawg camp grabbing the Black Lip Bastard himself Ab-Soul for "All The Time". Chuck Inglish brings his signature cruising music sound to the tracks production, while Mac handles the verses and hook with Soulo doing his best Andre 3K impression. 

Black Hippy - The Heart Pt. 3 (Will You Let It Die?), Swimming Pools & The Recipe

In celebration of his sophomore album good kid, m.A.A.d city ,Kendrick Lamar dropped part three to his legendary "The Heart" series. It's good to hear the whole Black Hippy crew together once again. The crew also did remixes to both of Kendrick's single "Swimming Pools (Drank)" and "The Recipe". Be sure to buy and support GKMC, the game needs more artists like Kendrick and the Black Hippy crew.

TiRon & Ayomari - Bernie Mac ft Ab-Soul

TiRon and Ayomari joined forces for a good cause in their The Cafeteria Line presents HNGRY project, which is for sale and all the proceeds going to fighting Los Angeles' homeless problem. One of the more stand out tracks from the project "Bernie Mac" features TDE's Ab-Soul who absoulutely (typo and pun intended) destroys the track. 

Ab-Soul - Nibiru

Ab-Soul dropped "Nibiru" yesterday as apart of the ongoing #TDEFamApreciationWeek, it's another crazy joint from Soulo. It'll take multiple listens to fully catch everything, although it does remind me of Lupe's new track "Lamborghini Angels" based on the fact that both have "controversial" topics and also the fact that both songs feature recycled hooks from previous tracks. I would love to see a Lupe x Soul joint in the future, I can't even begin to imagine how ill that would be.

Rapsody - Non Fiction ft Raheem DeVaughn & Ab-Soul

North Carolina's premier femcee Rapsody dropped her first single "Non Ficton" with Raheem DeVaughn on the hook and with an excellent guest verse from TDE's Ab-Soul, from her upcoming debut album The Idea Of Beautiful. Although I've heard of Rapsody before, I've never actually took time to listen to one of her tracks, however I must admit this pretty impressive. Rapsody's The Idea Of Beautiful set for August 28th.

Strong Arm Steady - Fair Fight ft Ab-Soul, ScHoolBoy Q & Jay Rock

Strong Arm Steady grabs 3/4's of the Black Hippy crew sans Kendrick Lamar for their latest leak Fair Fight from their upcoming project Stereo Type. The track which is produced by Statik Selektah, definitely has that street feel to it. Be sure to cop Stereo Type when it drops August 14th.

Kendrick Lamar - Swimming Pools (Drank)

Latepass, I've been (really) busy lately. Swimming Pools (Drank) is the latest single from Kendrick Lamar. Backed by a beat from T-Minus, this is definitely the most mainstream sound I've heard from Kendrick. Odd timing on the release of this record, plus with The Recipe gaining buzz on the radio you'd think Kendrick would hurry up and release the video. Either way good kid, m.A.A.d city drops October 2nd.

Another week, another great Ab-Soul track. This one here is no different, Soulo grabs fellow TDE member Kendrick Lamar for one of the most lyrically strong songs released this year. One of the standout lines from the track come from Soul who brags "I used to wanna rap like Jay-Z, now I feel like I could run laps around Jay-Z". Honestly though who can't at this point. Kendrick does his usual and handles the recycled hook.

Ab-Soul - Empathy ft Alori Joh & JaVonte' (Video)

Ab-Soul releases new visuals for the latest single from his Control System project featuring the late Alori Joh and JaVonte'. More of an R&B vibe from Soulo who actually sticks to singing for the majority of the song and sounds surprisingly well, only spitting a few bars to balance it out.

Rest In Peace to Alori, your beautiful voice will be missed...

Man! What can I say about this track besides that it's great. This is by far to me the best release from Ab-Soul's Control System that we've heard. Fuck a Black Hippy album, can we get an Soulo and Q project? Anyway don't forget to cop Control System when it drops May 11th, it's definitely going to be one of the best releases this year.

Ab-Soul - Pineal Gland (Video)

Earlier today, Ab-Soul dropped a video for his track Pineal Gland off of his upcoming album Control System, due out on May 11th. This is definitely a banger, backed by the production from Tae Beast, Soul spits some of the best I've heard from him. With the release of the Danny Brown featured Terrorist Threats last week and now this, Control System is looking to be one of the top releases this year.

Sidenote: I thought he got robbed of an XXL spot, til I saw that atrocity of a list (sans Danny Brown). Why is he wearing a bear on his head? Why?
