Future - Move That Dope ft Pharrell, Pusha T & Casino

With Honest seemingly hanging in limbo Future decided to release this unexpected cut from the album. I actually heard this joint on the radio on my way home, they only played Future's verse so much to my surprise when I got home and saw Pharrell and Pusha T were also on the track I was even more hyped. Good track from the Freebandz leader, hopefully this will make more noise then previously released singles and will see a solid release date for Honest.

Sidenote: Props to Casino for not ruining the track and for being able to do a really good Future impression.

Pusha T releases visuals for "Suicide" one of the standout tracks from his solo debut My Name Is My Name, directed by Nathan Brown who seems to have taken a page out of DONDA's book keeps the visuals to a minimum theme. Towards the end Ab-Liva's silhouette makes an appearance.

The-Dream's latest radio cut "Dope Chick" gets a toned video and title to make it more radio/tv friendly. It's good to hear dude making music again, no word on if he'll ever put out that fourth album though.

After spitting an a cappella version at last nights BET Awards, Ye and Pusha dropped the official version today. With a vocal sample of Ghostface Killah's "Might Healthy" Kanye and Pusha trade bars for the duration of the track. Honestly while the lyrics are there (the Yeezys line being the highlight), the beat and the Ghostdini sample don't work in my opinion. Nonetheless it's a Kanye track so people will gravitate to it regardless of a wack beat or not. G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer due out August 7th.

G.O.O.D. Music - Mercy (Video)

The collective known as G.O.O.D. Music, come together for a simple video, although the effects used throughout give it a unique one-shot-one-take feel. I definitely still think that 2 Chainz takes the cake for best verse the build up/anticipation of his verse alone decides it for me. Possible cameo of Rihanna Teyana Taylor and definite cameo of CuDi. Cruel Summer currently has no release date as far as I know but it has to drop this summer, right?

Let me start off by saying this is my favorite record of the year so far, if the G.O.O.D. album sounds anything like this I'll be a happy man. An absolutely perfect track, from the production by Lifted, to the verses. Everyone does well here, Pusha T especially but the surprise guest verse from 2 Chainz stole the show for me.
