Young Jeezy - F.A.M.E. (Fake Ass Muthafuckers Envy) ft T.I.
Download: F.A.M.E.
T.I. as a free man joins in on the latest from The Snowman. You can guess what this song is about from the title, so no need to explain. Jeezy on the other hand needs to explain about that TM103. No word on where this will land yet, although it would be ironic if this ends up on T.I.'s album.

Pusha T - Don't Fuck With Me
Download: Don't Fuck With Me
Ton over Drake's Dreams Money Can Buy, I haven't heard Pusha go in this hard in a minute. No shots here just a general message. Why couldn't this have come out when Cons was acting up?
The Internet (Syd The Kyd x Matt Martian)
Download: Love Song (Preview)
The Internet is the latest sub group in Odd Future, it is the combination of Syd's vocals and Matt Martian's production. This isn't Syd's first attempt at singing either she has a song called Flashlights, and even though I remember reading that she wasn't gonna do anymore songs I guess she changed her mind. Anyway, here is the first offering from the duo a preview of the track Love Song. It's a pretty chill mellow out sound, with some nice vocals from Syd.

Domo Genesis - Under The Influence
Download: Under The Influence
Dropped at 4:20 by Domo Genesis (I wonder why? hmmm), I personally have been waiting for a new project from him and here it is. I have been impressed with his progression in skill lately, and hopefully this won't disappoint. Domo has stated that no OF production will be featured on this tape, which will be interesting to hear how he sounds over non-OF production. Besides sides that light up or don't, either way just enjoy.
UPDATE: This is a very solid project from Domo but other than that it is pretty generic, Domo's never really stood out but what made him different from other weed/normal rappers was the production from Odd Future. With this mixtape I understand what he was trying to do, but to me he lost the sound he created with Rolling Papers. Hopefully in the future his projects feature more OF production.
Standout Tracks: Boss' Life, More Clouds & Shine. Smokemon (lol)
Sidenote: Top 5 worst interlude of all-time not clever nor funny at all, that was painful to listen to.

Kurtis Blow Jr. - Champagne Dreams & Purple Clouds
Download: Champagne Dreams & Purple Clouds
Mario Kart
I came across this mixtape randomly just searching for new music to listen to, and while I have heard a track from Kurtis Blow Jr. before (and was impressed) this is my first introduction to his "sound". With that being said I was really impressed by the production, it evokes a spacey-tripped out feeling even if you don't smoke. Now despite the name and cover it is not just an weed rapper rapping weed raps. While the majority of the tracks do give the typical weed song vibe, the production sets it apart. Funny thing is I enjoyed this mixtape but I actually liked the tracks that were not weed-related, because Kurtis really shines lyrically to me when given free-reign of his lyrical skills. Mario Kart is a good example of this and is my favorite track, though I think Kurtis will probably be know for his spacey sound which isn't bad because wither it be a weed song or just him spitting lyrics he impresses, and is definitely worth a listen.

Lupe Fiasco - Food & Liquor 5th Anniversary (A Letter To Lupe)
This album without a doubt is the major reason why I love Hip-Hop and Rap as much as I do. Until this album came out I thought rap could only be about money, cars and bitches. When I first heard Kick, Push it changed my life because I realized that rap and hip-hop could be totally something else. There was no explicit lyrics, no cars, no hoes, and no money. It was a simple story about a young man and his skateboard. The whole album itself is a story and an amazing one at that.
Lupe taught me that story telling and lyrics were just as important as a good beat or a catchy hook. From Day Dream to Real to Hurt Me Soul and Sunshine there are tons of hidden messages, metaphors and similes to find. One thing that I love about a Lupe track is that no matter how many times you listen to it you always hear something new, a new line or a metaphor that you previously didn't understand. It's beautiful, to simply put it. To wrap this up, Food & Liquor is an classic album just as The Cool is, and while Lasers may not be his best it is still better than most albums out now. Lupe Fiasco once again is the reason for my love of Hip-Hop/Rap music, because if I didn't discover his music I probably wouldn't even be typing this sentence right now, let alone running a music blog. Congrats and thanks, Lupe.

Frank Ocean - Thinking About You
Frank releases this video for Thinking About You, which was posted to his Tumblr but was removed for some reason. I know this was suppose to be a reference track for Bridget Kelly, maybe that's why. None the less here is the video, which follows in Novacane's footsteps as a tripped out eerie video.

Drake - Free Spirit ft Rick Ross
My favorite of the songs Drake released at OVO recently, with this one Drizzy and Rozay want girls to tattoo their name so they know it's real. The production is simplistic but it works well with Drake and Ross' lyrics, who themselves don't disappoint.
Drake - Club Paradise
Drizzy released this song over at OVO, and while it is a typical Drake song with typical Drake "problems" it stands out enough due to the melodic production from 40.

Kanye West & Jay-Z - Niggas In Paris (Cover Art)
Similar to the cover of Otis, the artwork for the latest single from Watch The Throne follows the red, white and blue strip pattern. "Some shit we did out in LA! Not on the album, but something you should have. Ride to it. Shout to my nigga Chase!"

"Did a lot of records in LA some months back. This is another one. Not album material, but its HEAVY."
Any Given Sunday fifth installment comes in as two songs, both recorded in LA. Neverland is produced by Chase N Cashe and Cole himself. Heavy is also produced by Cole. Both records are definitely good but still not album material, which has me excited for Cole World. September 27th could not come sooner.
